Hi---I'm new to posting here. It's been suggested by a friend that I should let you know what I have for download. I have several old tapes of WLIR from 1983-1987, recently converted to 80-minute MP3 files. I upload one or two per week to make them available for other New Wave addicts like me. I'm sorry that I'm starting here with Number 12. I'll figure out how to get the other eleven to you.

Vintage LIR-Volume#12 & #13 (from 1987)
--------------------------------------
Here's 2 LIR tapes from my collection.
Setting: It's getting closer to the final air date of WLIR back in 1987. (prior to the switch to WDRE)

Download and enjoy !

Here's the link to download Tape#12:

We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.

Hey motnow. Glad you took my advice and signed on. I figured this would be a pretty receptive audience. [;)]

#13 with Latin Quarters and Hanover Fist and Ledernacken has the best semi-obscutities quotient for my money. Been playing that on repeat for days. ;)

Cool! I was a 'LIR intern in '86-87. Wish I taped more, but we all thought it would go on forever. Here's links to my YouTube clips of the day it ended:
