Cheating - two photos. About a week ago, it was one of those juicy mornings after all-night thunderstorms. Woke up to this gauzy haze in the yard plus the biggest snapping turtle I'd ever seen - tail must have been a foot long:

I was hiking at Red Rock and the peeling bark on this tree caught my eye. I really like this photo.

Extremely cool. I love photos that emote very specific places or types of places without necessarily showing the whole place.
