Anyone got any? I would *LOVE* to put one on my car out here in Lost Angeles. I can't find any on the web or on eBay. I do have one, but I wanna preserve it.

The only one I have a duplicate of is the WLIR 107.1. If you'd like that one I can send it to you.

I have one unused one. I will search to see if I might have more (though I doubt it). If I have a second, I'd have to get it to Marie. A third and I can send it out to WLIRRIP.
Hmmm...since I know I have one, I wonder if there is a local printer that could make up a bunch based on the one I have? I'll find out
We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.

Marie, do you have any other Long Island '80's memorabilia lying around? I know I have some club pins and I believe a matchbook from Malibu. I also have a Thrush tee shirt and tons of Island Ear magazines. I'll have to look through my stash this weekend.

I have a SPIT tank top and SPIT pin. I also have a 92.7 WLIR clear sticker and two small WLIR magazines. I wonder if Reilly girl has anything. She was my partner in crime those days.
I do have a couple of cassette recordings of WLIR but the person who transferred them to cd for me didn't make it so they are one long cd. It pauses between each segment. Anyone know how to remedy this so I can post them?

By the way, I have a call into the local "sticker" maker by me. I am going to see if they can produce "duplicates" of the WLIR bumber sticker I have. If so, whoever wants can have. I'll keep you guys posted.

No problem. Understand that they will be "replicas" but I am trying to find someone to do this

I'll have to dig around in my basement boxes. I know I have one of the original 92.7 ones, but I recall that it's not in perfect condition -- the peel-off backing has not kept the adhesive side perfectly covered.

I have a couple of vintage WLIR clear window decals. The backing, iirc, has an ad for Record World/Square Circle and says to listen to the station for free record album giveaways. LOL. I'm not willing to part with em, but can scan and post.
Have some club passes from Voodoo in Huntington that recreated the vintage red, white and black sticker. If I can scrounge up more than one or two, I might part with em. But not sure if I'd even know where to look. LOL
Have some vintage WDRE stickers from the early 90s that they did with the station and Depeche Mode or Lollapalooza or The Cure or New Order or Swervedriver (ha) or or James or Nirvana on them too. Those are kind of fun. Not sure I have enough to spare any tho. But you're looking for LIR, tho.

Wow. So many responses... so little time [:)]
Uhhh... Thanks Ebbhead. Yeah, I'm looking specifically for LIR 92.7. But the clear stickers sound kinda cool. What do they look like and how could I go about acquiring one?
Club80, just let me know how much the printer's fee would be IF you can do this legally. If you can't, then please don't worry about it. Shoot, if you can then I probably could do that out here with the one I have.
Marie... they're on CD? What is it exactly that you're looking to do? Maybe I could help.
Thanks folks.

Don't worry about the printer's fee. As long as I can do this, I'll get a 100 printed up and mail one to anyone who wants one. I'll keep one extra for myself to go on my car.

I have some stickers but I don't think I can satisfy the numbers of responses on this board. (I'd get wiped out !)
However, I can supply you with PICs of the stickers I have.
I have about 1-2 of each one.
Here's a link to a zipped file of WLIR jpegs and bitmaps:

By the way, thanks to the as$holes in Maui who broke into our rental car and stole our wallets - mine with my original WLIR Card in it. I'm sure they grabbed the cash and the credit cards and then tossed the rest. Fu*&ers.
Here's a scan of that WLIR club pass that re-created the old sticker. And an original WDRE sticker that I scanned. Will have to try to find the WLIR decals to scan. They're pretty cool.
