Is dude TRYING to look just like Gilligan or is he just totally oblivious?

I guess it's only fair since Simon LeBon looks more like Alan Hale every day.

<br>It was always a head scratcher the 'View To A Kill' was Durans biggest U.S. hit. The Film was terrible. Maybe that exposure did the trick though. I remember working construction as a lad in 1984 and hearing 'The Reflex' played on the radio every 4th song (just behind Talk Talk's "It's My Life"). I thought that would have been their biggest hit. My vote would go to 'Planet Earth' or 'Secret Oktober' as my favorite DD song....

Dude, you should start a favorite Duran Duran song thread, it'd be awesome!

View To A Kill is one of the better Bond themes (yes, the movie was shitty!), but I don't know if lightning will strike twice for these guys, esp. if we see the names 'Timberlake' or 'Timbaland' in the credits (hopefully not). I actually liked Chris Cornell's theme for Casino Royale..of course the movie itself kicked major ass. A-ha's theme song was ok, but DD's song was much stronger. The Fixx actually had a shot in '97 for Tomorrow Never Dies (it was an early version of Fatal Shore from Elemental), but lost out to..Sheryl Crow?

Oh yeah? Makes me wonder how many bands are contributing potential Bond themes every time around. What was the St. Etienne song? I wouldn't mind hearing it. I have a feeling the studio might have gone with name recognition in the end, the Crow song was pretty lame (as are all Crow songs).
