The Secret

Anyone remember this quirky new wave/power pop outfit from 1979? They released one album with the brilliantly written song "What Is Wrong?" among other fantastic tunes! Who is the lead singer? Any other additional information would be greatly appreciated.

This great British duo was presented as a new wave answer to Sparks Brothers.Their names were Modern Leopard and Micky Modern,names that often show some production skills in other Oval/A&M acts like Shrink(in fact VJ Charlie Gilett),The Reds etc.Strange also that their drummer Pete Phipps was an ex member of Glitter Band.Their album is almost legendary great,a nice union of falsetto theatrical vocals with glam influenced compositions driven by new wave keyboards.Unforgettable is their song''Hotel Carabinieros'' with its Spanish overtones!!
