Yes, this is a shame. Escalator of Life and Chain Reaction were all over the Philly stations in 1982-83. Saw him a couple of times in concert as well. He will be missed. RIP Robert!!

That's sad.
He got strong play on WLIR too

We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.

Wow. Can't say I knew much of his stuff other than the hits, but still a bit of a shocker.

it is always sad to see a struggling song writer die, while other "popular "song writers throw their careers into the ground time and time again and are loved by the media.RIP Robert Hazard.

I liked Change Reaction a lot, and remember seeing the Escalator video a lot on MTV and TV-61 in Phoenix. Always sad to see a familiar face pass on.

Sad news indeed. I was fortunate to see RH perform a couple times back in the day. He was always one of my fav Philly acts.

I dont get by here too often lately and popping in today to see this news really sucks. Escalator Of Life and She's Hot are two of my all time favorites. He will be missed.
