Have any of you locals tuned into this? It's a pirate radio station based (I think) in Newport Beach/Costa Mesa. The call letters (kid you not) are KCUF and believe me nothing is sacred. F-bombs galore. Turned it on today and heard The Jam, Buzzcocks, Swell Maps & The Fall with some awesome 60's soul thrown in. I hope it lasts! It's like what Indie 103.1 used to be but with cussing.

What Indie used to be? They really haven't changed except now I hear more commercials than perhaps the first year or two of their existence. No, they don't use the f-word, but they still have a pretty non-commercialized lineup.

Have you also tried jack-fm? This afternoon I heard frickin' "Let Me Go". Yesterday, "Rock Lobster". I've heard The Smiths, Depeche, etc., in addition to some 80s top-40.

I'll try to get this tuned in up here in Northern Los Angeles County... too bad I don't live in Long Beach anymore, I bet it would come in there...
