Do any of you guyses use LastFM.com? It sproggles all of your music, keeping you informed that you've listened to "Empire State Human" over 30 times in the past year and that you've listened to Echo & The Bunnymen slightly more than The Cure.

Besides keeping track of all of your tracks, ahem, it also gives you spot-on recommendations, be it by your own personal taste or individual artists. I find this particular feature much better than Pandora's attempt at the same thing (haven't tried iTunes' Genius yet). The suggestions are spot-on and it even lets you skip at your own discretion.

My site is http://www.last.fm/user/Alfredeus -- let us exchange links and get a feel for each other's tastes (WTF), hopefully in an effort to expand our horizons.

All of that could be an entendre of some sort...

I used to be on there. A friend recommended it to me, and for a while (when it was hip and underground) it was a pretty cool place to meet people and discover/share music. But I quit using it since it became extremely popular, and the new look of the site is just awful. Haven't used it in over a year.

It's so crowded nobody goes there anymore[^]

Nope, can't have something get too popular. We might just end up with the John Hughes version of LastFM.
