Steve Blimkie sent me this message:

"By the way, 2 recent passings of note from the Toronto "punk/power pop"
scene of the 70's/80's....Frankie Venom, lead singer of Teenage Head died 3 weeks ago, and Kenny McLean, bassist with Platinum Blonde died on the weekend...both 52, if I'm not mistaken"

Man, that sucks, especially when they were planning a reunion. Wonder if this will prompt $ony to try and cash in by finally releasing the DVD that's been ready for years.

They might.

I used to work at Sam the Record Man and we always knew that when someone died, we would get more of their product in that was not available and to front rack it to maximize the sales of the death of the person.

Damn, teenage head were a fun band to go see. I bartended for a Toronto college pub nights way back when and they played the first pub night I worked.

Life's what you make it.
