OR

In wich they re-quote themselves with a few notes/bars from [i]In The Name Of Love[/i]

Lyrics count as well.

Sting, again:

The final verse of "O My God" off [i]Synchronicity[/i] is ripped from the final fading lines of "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic".

He sort of parodies "Every Breath You Take" at the end of "Love Is the Seventh Way".

The Clash is sampled, and The Who in another song, as well as numerous ska, rocksteady, and reggae classics on other tracks, plus film scores and dialog from old 'western' films as well.

Does the The Psychedelic Furs' "My Time" from the Mirror Moves album quote lyrics from a song on their previous album "Forever Now?"

I just heard the song and the lyrics sounded very similar or quoted exactly to an earlier song they wrote.

Swedish kitsch band Army of Lovers got some airplay here with the song "Crucified," which had exactly the same melody as their earlier song "Shine Like a Star."
