Supposedly he is part of a big concert to celebrate the inauguration of Barack Obama.
Anybody see/hear him? Is he "alone", i.e. this is not U2??

I watched it. It was U2. They sang Pride (In The Name Of Love) and "City of Blinding Lights" against the background of the Lincoln Memorial. Bono changed some of the words in "City of Blinding Lights" to celebrate the occasion. It was good.

Yes, Newsday on Long Island had this to say about it.

"U2's Bono also stirred up some controversy, changing the lyrics of "Pride (In the Name of Love)," the band's tribute to The Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech, by saying, "Not just an American dream, also an Irish dream, a European dream, African dream, Israeli dream and also a Palestinian dream."

I can't imagine why the hell that would be controversial in the least. Just seems like lazy journalism to throw in that word.

I know, it is ridiculous. I usually love Glenn Gamboa's reviews. He did the best review of Yaz that I had read.
