Blondie Or Martha And The Muffins

Since their styles are somewhat alike I decided to post both of them,to find out which group is more well liked.Well let's see, with me out of all of the Blondie albums form the 70's and 80's, I liked 5 out of the 6 of them. The only one I did not really care for was Autoamerican.

And out of all of the Martha And The Muffins albums,I liked 6 out of 7.The only one I did not care for was their very last one which was made in the late 80's,or the early 90's.The last one I still liked was The World Is A Ball. That last one with that Lullabye title in it really stunk. It was nothing at all like any of their previous albums. Not even new Wave even slightly. It was completely folk and very slow, and not something I would have expected from them at all.

But since I do like one more album from The Muffins, than I do of Blondie,I guess that means I am going to have to go with Martha And The Muffins then.Who do you all like overall between the two? I expect a slaughter here again.

Another tough one newwavepopman! As far as a long term thing I would go with blondie although she looks like a grandma baglady now.

I wouldn't PhillyIdol, only because Martha And The Muffins lasted alot longer than Blondie as a band the first time around. They broke up in 1982,while Martha And The Muffins continued onward until 1989 or so.

I'll say Blondie because you have to admit it was pretty groundbreaking stuff... they did punk, new wave, disco, and even early rap stuff! very diverse and fun and debbie was sechsay!!!!!!

Out of topic, but I'm wondering... "newwavepop" and "newwavepopman" are two different people? I'm just a little curious...
