Both are very good at least I think so,just never did get to hear too much from Gruppo Sportivo as I would have liked. So with that alone to go on,and the fact that the B 52's are one of my favorite all time New Wave bands the answer to this question is the B 52's,for me at least. How about all of you? Who do you all prefer more? I predict the same answer I gave, only because not every one knows who Gruppo Sportivo was.

What do you mean by X vs Y threads JFiber? I pick out bands that seem very alike at the time.Let's face it both the B 52's and Gruppo Sportivo were both considered weird New Wave bands,so it is only a natural to put them both together.Plus, there are quite

I've never even heard of Gruppo Sportivo. I guess they didn't become sell-outs and sold enough albums to be really really popular [:D] I'll go with The B-52s.

XXX Gruppo Sportivo were basically huge in their own homeland in Holland. They didn't really catch on here in the US.Just diehard New Wave fans like myself are the ones who really know who they are.Basically you would have to be a diehard fan to know and r

I have sports by Gruppo , very good. but the boofoos are by far more prolific and quirky. Ijust downloaded NiNa reached number one in Japan’s pop music chart. The band, featuring Kate Pierson (B-52’s) and Mick Karn is a really cool blend.
