I know this group released 3 albums, and I have (a 4th) compilation album called "Smashes, Crashes and Near Misses" on CD.
Are any of the original albums available commercially on CD? I thought someone had discussed this before by my search was fruitless. And searching Amazon with "The Records" gets more than 300,000 hits[:(]

"Shades in Bed" has been reissued with bonus tracks and is available. I hope the other two are reissued as well.

The first album, "Shades In Bed", (aka The Records in the US), was remastered and was issued a couple of years ago. Don't know if it is hard to find now. Their second album, "Crashes", was supposed to be reissued this November 8th but I haven't seen it

Just gotta say--I looove the Records. When I was about twelve "Starry Eyes" came out, and I remember reading in a music magazine that it was about the most perfect pop single ever recorded. At the time, it seemed like nothing more than the simple truth.
