In the early 1980's, KWK AM/FM was a very popular AOR-formatted operation. From 1981 to 1983, KWK-AM had a two hour nightly program called "Freeform," which was a departure from the standard Boston-Skynrd-Eagles playlist they had.
Here is a recording I made of the Freeform show, from 22 October 1982, encoded at 192/44.1 :
