Famous Aldo's in Lyndhurst NJ destroyed in fire.
Posted: Tue Dec 07, 2004 5:02 amFor those of you familiar with this New Jersey spot...sad news. It burned down in a fire a few months ago. The upstairs was a boarding house where all sorts hung out. Seems somoene fell asleep with a cig lit and it went down. Owner says he will not resurrect club...part of a long gone era. The neighborhood has changed as well. There is a big Stop and Shop, car dealership, huge medical practice office and a pasta factory all around that location.
