Did anybody else pick up this book last year? Hornby's the author of "High Fidelity" and "About a Boy" among other things. Just re-read it and I highly recommend it for any who likes songs. That's really all its about - short essays on songs, why we like 'em, why they move us, etc. I think a lot of us here are similarly drawn to songs like Hornby is, so check it out. Any other thoughts?

I picked it up with the CD in a sale. Still to read it but Hornby is a great writer. "Fever Pitch" about Football (er Soccer to give it it's incorrect name!!!! [:D]) is one of the best ever things I have read.
