Hello!
I can't find any info about
1)Scary Thieves - Game Of Love
2)Touch - Heartbeat
3)The Radiance - What Goes On
4)Vital Signs - Trading In
Do you know if they exist on LP/12"/or 7" ?
I appreciate any help!

AFAIK Scary Thieves - Game of Love was never officially released. Their unreleased album was leaked a few years ago and includes the song.

If you've got about $500.00 U.S., we can talk about the Vital Signs single.

It's a joke...I don't sell records. In fact, I usually just give away duplicates if I see somebody is looking for an item I have multiple copies of. Ask around.

The $500.00 price is reflective of what somebody would most likely have to pay to acquire a copy.

It will be a tough one to find...I've only seen it for sale on eBay twice: both times by the same vendor. (from the U. K.)

If I were a rich man, I'd pay $500 for the Vital Signs single (for "Miracles"). But I'm not. I wish I had seen those 2 auctions, because I checked eBay for over a year -- just because I was curious what it would go for -- plus all the online music stores, and never even turned up one copy. Besides, even if I were rich, I probably couldn't outbid "klumpa."

Did we ever find out anything about this band? As best as I can make out from that pic, there's a songwriter/producer by the name of Iain Macdonald. I can't make out the other names.

This is true. eight6 is cool about sharing/ giving away some truly hard-to-find music. I still have never found any Paris Working material out there, and I am thrilled that eight6 hooked me up.[:)]
Anyway,
on another note: man, that sure is one boring sleeve design for such a cool song "Trading in Guilt".

The guy I bought it off of goes by the eBay vendor name "yekserves". I've bought a lot off of him...he seems to have an endless supply of records to peddle; many VERY rare, all in great shape. He sold both of the copies of Vital Signs I've seen up for sale on eBay. I think klumpa won the first one for over $500.00, mine was a "bargain" at a mere $370.00 U.S.

I'm thinking he had told me a bit about the band in one of the e-mails we exchanged, but I've long since forgotten what that might have been. You could drop him a line via eBay, he's pretty approachable.

Thanks for the blown-up pic. If I ever win any of that guy's auctions, I'll ask him.

dang eight6! I thought I was bad with the prices I've paid for some of my music pieces! I think the most I've ever spent on one piece was about 100. 370 is crazy! Must be a really great track. What subgenre of new wave would you describe it as?

I like to call pieces like that Investment Wave. As strange/foolhardy/stupid (you pick) as it seems, the $370.00 doesn't even rate in the top ten price wise.

You know, I think I need a new hobby.

Actually, the Vital Signs is probably best slotted into the minimal synth genre, esp. the A-side.
