Anyone have any info on this band? Recently discovered them & I have an excellent extended mix single of "Saturday in Silecia", and I like it alot, total synthpop hit. Was wondering if they had a full length lp, and is it worth picking up, is it OOP/etc?

Thanks gang.[:D]

I really like their first album as a great signature period piece. After awhile, it gets annoying and cloyingly over-the-top synthpop. You'll love 'em. Try these obscure sites:

Cold War Nightlife comes highly recommended and is a great starting place. To The Goddess Electricity is certainly worth a listen as well.

One of the most underrated bands of the early eighties. I totally love these guys. Tracy Howe the lead singer is super cool. They did a great album in the late 90's called "To The Goddess Electricty" which sounds excellent. "Cold War Night Life" is still their best and is an 80's classic.

"Cold War Night Life" is a great album start to finish and I would highly recommend it to any fan of classic early 80s synth pop. Their follow up album "Heredity" is also good.

Cold War Night Life definatly their best. However I think the extended version of Saturdays in Silesia is awful--original version is much better. Then again, I hate ALL extended mixes.

Also have to mention their 90's release To The Goddess Electricity is my seond favorite. Pink Pills, Orange Pills is a great tune, as well as Back From Madrapour.
