Hi Gang,

With all the "this or that" posts that passed through here recently (yeah I know they were annoying) I didn't see anything mentioning the one band that had so many different faces during the 80's that could have a this and that all to itself. Al Jourgenson's Ministry.

So whats everyones favorite and why? Do you like the early 80's New Wave version,the Mid 80s Gothic or the late 80's early 90's Industrial version?

I thought Twitch was their best album and I really liked what little I've heard previous to that. I thought their later stuff sucked big time but for some reason it seemed to be when they were most popular. I could go my whole life without hearing Jesus

I was always partial to the early poppy, melodic stuff like Halloween. I loved that first incarnation of Ministry. Everything afterwards was OK, I guess.....just not crazy about it. Not really for me.

I love it all!..Early stuff,...current stuff, & all that's in between...I also like Alien Jurgensens collaborative work with Skinny puppy, Trent Reznor, Jello Biafra, Cab Voltaire, & Ian Mackaye...Their last concert was Awesome!!!

I personally thought that With Sympathy was the best. Their music after that album was extremely difficult and hard to listen to. As for the 90's, the heavy metal sound was something I could live without. I can't believe the huge transformation Ministry w
