The Church "Remote Luxury" CD...track error?

Postby budaniel » Mon Jan 25, 2010 5:24 am

Hey all,

I just got a copy of the "Remote Luxury" CD, 1994 issue an Arista, and track 3, "No Explanation" seems to have had the track marker placed in the wrong spot. Instead of the song starting fresh, it begins with 30 instrumental seconds of what I assume is the song Violet Town, which comes right before it...the 30 seconds fade in, and then fade out. Does anyone know if this is an issue with every pressing of this CD, or is mine just defective? Thanks in advance.

I think those thirty seconds are part of that song, and not Violet Town. It's the same way on the sing songs/remote luxury/persia CD, I believe...

yeah, I wasn't sure where it belonged either. However, the track length of the song based on the liner notes is 3:51, and the only way it would be that way is if that odd 'intro' were not part of the song.
