A quote from the site.........

"TVparty presents found articles circa 1980-82 written by Billy Eye and Judy Zee from Data-Boy, a gay entertainment magazine published in Hollywood.
These articles chronicle the bands coming up through the Los Angeles Punk and New Wave club scene during a key period. They read like a diary in the lives of these young clubgoers and the burgeoning scene they covered."

There's also a pretty cool audio jukebox of various LA punk/new wave bands from the era...

Thanks. That's a great site. It brought back a ton of memories reading those articles. I never heard of that magazine though, but I wish that early BAM and Music Connection magazines were online somewhere.

Wow wow wow wow wow...THAT instantly threw me back to high school. Never heard of the mag but the stories sounded familiar, as if the cool kids at lunch had told me the stories 3rd-hand after their older brother's cooler friend's friend told them!
