Should any of you live in the listening area or be returning home for the Holidays, I'm co-hosting the "Very 80's Christmas" version of Essential 80's on 90.3 FM live Thursday night (technically Friday morning) from Midnight to 2AM, and rebroadcast Saturday (Christmas) night from 10PM to Midnight.
It's 100% commercial-free (and no one makes a dime from it) and we take requests.
Show Info: We emanate from the shadows of the old WLIR studios every Thursday (Midnight to 2 AM) and Saturday (10PM to Midnight) night on Garden City's 90.3 FM. We are not yet webcast, but we can be heard in most of the Tri-State area. Thanks!
P.S. If anyone has "Giddy Up" by the Dumbells (really Roxy Music), "Reggae Christmas" by Bryan Adams and/or "Yuletown Throwdown" by Blondie, I'd be sure to mention on air who gave it to me.
If you have any other song suggestions, please post them here. The songs must have been released, recorded or charted in the 80's.
