has anybody ever randomly come across cool forgotten bands on youtube that you otherwise would have never know existed?

ive come across a few. at the moment im totally into this.

I got into a real Sparks kick about three years ago by stumbling onto their vids on YT. I was looking for 'Never Turn Your Back on Mother Earth', the Martin L Gore cover, when I found a clip of the orignal.

I had known of Sparks before this, but never heard much from or known much about them. I had known the Gore version was a cover, but had never known it was Sparks.
The planets aligned. I discovered Sparks.
Their output is far from consistent, but Sparks are greater than the sum of their parts. Forty years on and still going. Sparks fuckin rule.
