Doesn't matter where you partied from the mid 80s thru early 90s, your club probably looked exactly like this one.

(Sorry if this link's already been posted. Worthy of a re-post! Ha!)

HA! Not sure where this is...Southern California...Long Island...Toronto...Dallas... it was all the same. Whoever filmed this footage and saved/posted this to YouTube is my hero.

OMG!!! That dude(black shirt/red hair) totally reminds me of my buddy Ben from back home(Michigan). He used to be REALLY into the Cure.....(got me into them), he was one cool dude, and got more ass than a toilet seat...LOL. He still, to this day, looks alot like that. Ben is so cool. WE used to go to teen clubs together, and just dance our asses off to 80s music.

Has that song ever found it's way onto a compilation or something? how many cd's do they have out? bad ass jam. Whats the sname of the cd this song is on?

"Keepin the '80s alive!"

Nice to see the fancy dancer in the white shirt and black leather jacket was universal. The one thing that's missing is the old guy that was usually there trying to fit in.

I think I'm fascinated by this because it just is what it is. Kind of unedited film from a club without context. I'm curious where this is from and the story behind it, but in a way not knowing what is up with it is kind of the charm.

This
is video from the old Krypton/The Haven on the Westchester/Connecticut border from 1991ish. (There's 3 others below if you care enough to look at them.) Even though I went to this club all the time (and may have actually been there this night?) it's not quite as crazy as the vid above without any context.

Now all we need to do is edit together a bunch of these videos, stream them continuously on a Friday night on a website called "Virtual Club 80's", have an open chat room where we oldsters can hang out and network the hell out of it. [:D]

The funny thing is they were probably dancing to Ministry "I Wanted To Tell Her" or something like that.

I don't know who anyone is in that video, and yet it feels like I know every one of them. Great post.
