This is an amazing fan site (in Japanese, but the pictures!) documenting the releases of Ze Records, a NYC record company that started in the late 70's, releasing seminal post-punk and no wave records from James Chance, The Contortions, Was not Was, Lydia Lunch, and more. I just spent the last hour scrolling thru the pages for all the artists released on this label.

I was prompted to do his because I finally purchased 2 CD reissues from Lizzy Mercier Descloux, one of which "Mambo Nassau" has been compared to "Remain in Light".

Ze records was fantastic.
I've just bought the reissue of the first was not was lp from 80/81.
Its great : way ahead of its time- mixing funk,rock,samples and stream of consiousness lyrics.
It also contains the 1983 version of Out Come the Freaks one o
