Once again, it's time for Name That Tune! I'm continuing with the "theme" theme from last time, only this time, I'm giving the theme in advance: All these songs have female lead vocals.
There are twenty songs. You get one point for correct song and one point for correct artist, for a total of 40 possible points.
Send me your answers with the "Email poster" button or at rsgonzalez(at)gmail.com.
Do not post any answers here!
You've got three weeks. The deadline is Monday, October 25 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Good luck, and enjoy!

One week in, and two people have sent me answers. Two weeks to go -- keep 'em coming!

Blame zSHARE. It's an ordeal to just get a hold of the file.

For me, it's been a pain to try to download. After waiting a minute for zshare to let me dowload, it then repeatedly asks me to download the XVID codec. A pain. Might participation be more straightforward if you just uploaded the mp3 as a fake video track to youtube or something? This also gets around any possible virus worry.

Wow, I had no idea zShare was giving people trouble. I've never had a problem with it.
I just uploaded the file to YouTube:

Answers sent, I got 11 of 20.
You might consider disabling comments on the youtube page until after the close of of the Name That Tune is over, then put the answers in and open the comments section back up.
I think this is a much easier way to do the NTT games in the future.

Hmm, I thought I had disabled comments, but it looks like it didn't work. I keep setting it to "disable comments," but the little comments box remains. Oh well ...
I will definitely just use YouTube in the future. I had no idea zShare was giving people problems!

With one week to go, I have five people who have sent in answers so far. There's still room for someone else to take the lead!

There are two are three that are pretty difficult, even taking into account the apparent "theme" of the audio selections.

Exhausting. I knew I had every one of these songs...which is a lot worse than not knowing a bunch of them. The former makes you rummage through your whole freaking iTunes list. 19 was tricky - I never associated them with a female lead per se.

Nothing worse then looking through thousands of songs for an artist or song you can't remember.. [:p]
