Has anybody heard/experienced any news about mediafire virus. Apparently, they come from the page not the actual download link. I had heard mediafire was a very dependable p2p but this virus news scares me.
Also, what actions can you take if you think there has been an attack on your computer? Or would everything be lost?

I've uploaded a lot of stuff to Mediafire, and haven't had a malware problem from them. I haven't downloaded that much from there, but the times I have have been problem-free.

Mediafire is an online storage host, and not peer-to-peer.
