Noosha Fox & Claire Grogan

...seperated at birth? I just heard "SSSingle Bed" on Crap from the Past(a song liked by Chuck & Joel). I can't help but to compare Noosha's voice versus Claire Grogan's.

I gotta get ssingle bed on Mp3. This is too good.

That's pretty awesome. I did a search on Noosha Fox and didn't find too much stuff that was released by her. What Altered Images song can you best compare this song to? Man I wish Altered Images would release a new album.

I can't think of any songs in common, just their voice. They are interchangable.

[:)]I think that Noosha Fox sounds more like Alison Goldfrapp but I love Clare Grogan and I think Sandra Dickinson deserves a mention if only for her vocal dubbing Jodie Foster's rendition of My Name is Tallulah in Bugsy Malone!

Dead on Nicholas. Somebody turned me onto her based on the Goldfrapp overtones...similar look very glam style, odd songs, vocoder usage. Even the fact that her band was called Fox while her stage name was Noosha Fox, ala Goldfrapp and Alison Goldrapp. I only have one track of her's off a 70s comp. I think pretty uncommon so hope MikeP doesn't mind me sharing it here. One of her minor hits...

Kind of an odd intro then a big tempo boost - never could figure if it was a bad rip and inclusion of another sogn or if that's how the song actually goes. Not really my cup of tea, but yet again another cool musical history connection I've made thanks to the almighty Outpost!

Try to find and listen tothe 70s art pop band of Noosha The Fox.Great stuff, similar to 10cc and somewhat to early Blondie.Noosha also made some singles in early 80s in a more disco direction.Fox had three albums.
