Corniest synthpop song ever - anyone?

Maybe there is a better forum for this on nwoutpost, but I usually only ever check this one, so please excuse me. I like to tease my (younger-than-me) girlfriend by playing old school synth, and especially corny ones like La Bionda's "I wanna be your lover"

Now I dare anyone to tell me the most corny synthpop song ever. One album could be Silicon Teens, but I believe it's intended to be corny (??) (I even think a Depeche Mode song from their first album (What's your name) would fall into this category!). Over to you!

Sorry, I meant to post it at the other forum (News, Reissues & Compilations) (yes even if it's not technically the correct forum, I know, sorry) so I posted it here now instead:

well my Swedish friend, I'm pretty sure some Freestyle songs matched the corniness of La Bionda, if not surpassed them... hmmmm Vill Ha Dig [:p]

I guess it depends on how one defines corny. "The Test of Love and Sex" by Fun With Animals was pretty corny.

I agree! But I never danced to them haha. I think their image was corny, but the "sound effects" by La Bionda's song was even cornier.

you're right La Bionda was more on electro side than Freestyle, which was a bit funkier...

I'd put "Living On Video" by Trans-X in that category, although I love it. It may not sound corny at first - but try listening with the video. The lame "dancing" by the girl in the video...the singer's affected seriousness...the overall topic of the song!
But yes, I love it.

For ALL of the questions that you can possibly come up with, the answer will always be "Doot-Doot by Freur"...so stop!
