Icehouse are giving away a free live concert download of a 1980 show in Melbourne at their Facebook page.
The live recording was made on June 19, 1980 at Centenary Hall for Melbourne radio station 3RRR.
“We thought this show was a great example of how Flowers sounded as a band at that time, playing the debut album and no cover versions,” Iva said in a statement. “We found it hard to break it up into individual songs so didn’t include any of these tracks in the 30th Anniv set as we wanted to share the concert ‘whole’”.
The show was broadcast live to air.
