I have to say, all I ever knew by Martin Briley was The Salt in My Tears, but in my constant desire to experience 80s music I missed the first time around, I ordered his boxed set with all three 80s albums and there's some very 80s, very power pop stuff. Anyone else like any of his stuff?

The track right after "Salt in my tears" on his 2nd lp is "Just a Mile Away", and I think that thing has one of the best 80's-AOR choruses I've ever heard.

(when I say 80's AOR, I don't mean new-wave, but more like 707, Harlequin, Spys, etc etc etc - - those who know what I mean know what I mean!)

pretty good. I never heard this before

a bit offtopic but Tony Carey's "I Won't Be Home Tonight" was listed as related to it on Youtube... I love that one [:D]
