Rhino's "Just Can't Get Enough" series included a great new wave Christmas album. You can't go wrong with anything on this disc; XTC, Captain Sensible, The Waitresses, Timbuk 3, etc.

mine's short and sweet:

Waitresses - christmas wrapping
Book of Love - we 3 kings (and Candy Carol, although not officially a christmas song)
Eurythmics - winter wonderland
Band-Aid - do they know it's christmas
Erasure - she won't be home
Queen - Thank God It's Christmas (not officially new wave, but it's from their "Radio GaGa" synthpop days)
U2 - Christmas (baby please come home)

honestly, I would have mentioned it because it used to be one of my favorite 80s christmas songs, but it has been PLAYED to death and covered to death. I'm pains me that I'm really sick of it even though it only gets rotation once a year!

It isn't Christmas without Bryan Adams and Pee Wee Herman doing Reggae Christmas.

Some good picks here. I'll add on a few, Aztec Camera - Walk out to Winter (maybe not christmas but time appropriate). Buzz of Delight - Christmas; Cocteau Twins - Frosty The Snowman; and Throwing Muses - Santa

Oh. Although I wouldn't in any way consider it a new wave song, I also am a big fan of 2000 Miles by The Pretenders.

A great take on Last Christmas by Florence and the Machine

Another good one from her is this mix of her own song and the classic
