Belinda Carlisle book??

Anybody read it? Was it a good overview of the LA scene late 70's early 80's?

I read the book a few months back. It was a good read, but could be boiled down to these three items over and over
1) Belinda takes drugs
2) Belinda gets caught and promises to not do drugs anymore
3) Belinda sneaks around to do drugs
That is it in a nutshell. There is some mention of other LA area bands when they were starting out. But nothing too in depth. My biggest revelation from it was that Miles Copeland sped up Belinda's voice track on "Beauty and the Beat". I never heard that before.

recently in November she performed in Moscow, Russia at an 80's retro Disco concert, she and Paul Young were first time guests there, they joined other 80's Euro international and local artists.

Was there a part in the book that says 'pissed away my money on drugs so now doing crappy 80s tours and showing off my funbags'?
