I was rather annoyed when Kurt Harland did not show up for the Information Society reunion on Bands Reunited. Here is his side of the story:

I also read that and thought of him in a totally different light. I watched the show and thought, "Why would he stand up his fans and stuff," but after reading his account, have to say that I understand his point. Always view "reality" shows with skeptici

I agree with everyone here, after reading Kurt's explanation, I was no longer annoyed with him. I must admit I really do like Bands Reunited, however there is much more going on "behind the scenes" than I was aware...

Trying to keep some perspective here, while the Insoc ordeal was very insightful, keep in mind all the members are enjoying very successful new careers doing other things, other bands have not been so lucky. It would seem some bands might be choppin' at

Who here thinks the host is actually a fan of the bands? Is it just a job for him? It would be best if the host was a true fan of the music, MTV has had a few personalities that are true fans, it gives them a certain amount of credibility.

Despite my distaste for some of VH1's methods, I have found the shows interesting, just seeing what some of these people are up to. I missed several that I really wanted to see, like Berlin, Kajagoogoo and A Flock of Seagulls. I agree that these people sh

I think the show has a limited life span. Now that people recognize the host (see the Vixen episode) it's harder to sneak up on htem and surprise them with the thought of a reunion.

However, I'll play Devil's Advocate here and say that I like the show
