New Wave Massacre!

Why can't people except new wave for what it is?!....

It's mainly what our nation grew up on through out the 80's,
the best got damn years of any british or americans life!!!

So what if a majority of them are one hit wonders.[V]
It's still our music.
It's give exciting feelings that most people are letting die off.[:(]
We will never get to live the 80's again. Hell I'm 16 and I like old rock and new wave, and I'm trying my damndedest to keep new wave and 80's rock alive. It won't work!
Why do people only appreciate exciting music?!..
I mean, it's not the best music but it's what built the 80's, and we will are never going to see it again, so we migght as well enjoy it!

True this. I find myself at college having to explain to the cats around the classroom what new wave is. some say,"Oh, I dig this!" and others say,"Huh",mesmerized, they're trying to understand. The teachers get it and praise me for being "different".[:D]

Yeah, people know new wave from just the radio crap that got played on top 40 stations. But did they ever hear any of thomas dolby or gary newmans other songs. Ya see to me anyways, she blinded me with science and cars were they're week songs. Welcom Newm
