Not exactly New Wave, but anything by The Pogues or The Waterboys is likely to have accordion in it. And let's not forget Wierd Al.

Also, not sure if the "new wave" label really fits, but Weddings, Parties, Anything's "Roaring Days" album is full of accordion from top to bottom. Not for everyone, but a great band to hear live at an Irish pub. Fun!
