Proto- punk

What about the proto -punk acts of Dictators,Electric Eeels,Dmz,Styrenes,Corpse Grinders and Zolar x? Has anyone listened to their albuns? And also what's your opinion, about Cleveland punk rock scene,which brought us,DeadBoys and Pere Ubu?Thanks!!

I also love the Dead Boys/ Lords. Great description, XXX, of the Lords. "Dance With Me" is twisted! love their cover of "Live For Today" too. I would like to find me some Dead Boys---and these other bands you guys have mentioned.

I was a huge Lords fan in the late 80's/early 90's. I tried to listen to them a few months ago and for me it just didn't hold up. But that's just me.
