Saw an lp by this group called Malaria! (lp title: emotion) and I'd never heard of the group. 1982 date. Mostly female German group, have the perfect 1982 new wave haircuts/clothes on back photo...
Listened to it - - synth and drum machine, but very abrasive..not 'catchy' or even melodic....interesting but NOT easy on the ears....
Anyone else ever heard this group? What do you think?....

I like Malaria a lot. It's one of my favorite bands!
They're still popular in the German goth-scene especially with their song "Kaltes Klares Wasser". They don't have any new releases or something, but they made a song together with "chicks on speed" a
