Which is your favourite, female punk/new wave band?Beyond the more known names of Slits and Go-Gos,there was the primitive punk of Swiss Kleenex/Liliput, the punky pop of Modettes, the Situasionist politics of Poison Girls, the Curse, the B-girls from Canada! And why not the Runaways! For all these and more, girls or grrrls, hit the calm waters of not only rock, but also punk and made us happy! What do you think?

Wow. There are so many. Kleenex were quite good. As were the Poisin Girls and the Mo-Dettes. A few others I like (not sure how "obscure" you want them):

Action Pact!
Fay Ray
Annabel Lamb
Drug Addix
Kirsty MacColl
Ligotage
Vice Squad
