I know some on this board aren't fans, but I just bought it a few hours ago and the first few songs are GREAT! A lot of Generation X and "Rebel Yell" can be heard, at least in the first few tracks. Keith Forsey is back producing, and Steve Stevens is on guitar. The only thing I'm pissed about is that I bought it at Target, which has a promotion going where you get two free downloads at billyidol.com. Though they are supposedly "mine to keep," I was only able to listen to them and now they're gone. Egads.

Actually, on the subject of the free DLs, I probably got the fastest tech support response in history, and they e-mailed the MP3s to me moments after my post. It was a Quicktime issue.

Love Billy Idol, I'll have to sheck it out. You should make itunes your default mp3 player.

I've had an advance copy of it for a couple weeks now, it's great. Some of the songs, especially the single, Scream, sound right off of Rebel Yell. I have that song uploaded, for anyone who wants to download it.

I love this guy too, but his cover of "Don't You Forget About Me" is HORRIBLE. And that picture Hex posted of him in the other thread kills me! Still gonna have to check out the album though, Steve Stevens plays a mean gi-taur.

For anyone who couldn't get that other upload to work, try this one:
