Good New Wave ways to annoy non New Wave people

For example I love to tell my rock/blues guitarist friend how Depeche Mode regularly sell out stadiums when they tour. Or I talk about real musical pioneers like Vince Clark. I kill 'em w/kindness and a healthy dose of undisputable facts and I watch their faces twist in agony, lol!

When people start talking about their own kind of music, I just give a wan smile and take an exit [B)]... It should be clear that I don't want to hear anything about their crap! [:(!]

Play the synthiest NW possible, such as Yaz, DM, OMD, etc. in a place where they cannot get away, like in your car.

Buy them an essential new wave CD(or make one) and give it as a gift for any occasion. I actually did this as a teenager(with tapes) and some people really did start liking the music or at least gave it a listen.

I actually got a hardcore heavy metaler to listen to new wave and punk, and he became a big fan(although he didn't really share that with his friends).[8D]
