Boredom makes you do dumb things.....like take these Nails lyrics and substitute the original names with the top 44 New Wave Outpost personalities (defined by volume of posts: http://www.nwoutpost.com/forum/members.asp) See which girl you ended up being.

she held out to the bitter end.
kimiiii was a different type,
she's the one who put it in.
KYYX4ever was a black girl,
and I was afraid of a girl like that.
Blir painted pictures sitting down
like the Buddha sat.

Ollie Stench was a nameless girl
a geographic memory.
Jimbo was a Jesus-freak,
she liked that kind of misery.
schwenko had this special way
of turning sex into a song.
ExRat who couldn't sing,
kept the beat and kept it strong.

Grunch was an archetype,
the voodoo queen the queen of wrath.
i_like_lectric_motors thought men were second best
to masturbating in the bath.
Sean was a feminist,
she really had that gift of gab.
2Nu's point of view was this:
take whatever you can grab.

marvymarv was another girl
who left her mark upon the map.
fritzb liked to tie me up,

she didn't even say good-bye.

Well MikeP had a house in Venice,
lived on brown rice and cocaine.
savethewave had a house in Houston,
shot cough syrup in her veins.
ben_at_work thought her life was empty,
filled it up with alcohol.
mygreen was much too pretty,
she didn't do that shit at all.

Not mygreen. Uh-uh.

eight6 thought that love was simple,
turn it on and turn it off.
Frayo was complicated,
like some French film-maker's plot.
ghosty was the perfect lady,
always kept her stockings straight.
randy was a rich punk-rocker,
silver spoon and a paper plate.

ekahob was a modern dancer,
lean pristine transparency.
newwavepopman wrote bad poetry
in a crazy kind of urgency.
bowiestation liked to fuck
while wearing leather biker boots.
Jason2's strange obsession
was for certain vegetables and fruit.

bpdp3 was an artist's daughter,
the deeper image shook her up.
wozgo's mother left her father,
took his money and his truck.
beatschool had no such problems,
perfect Norman Rockwell home.
marie3 sixteen had a baby,
left her parents lived alone.

Dave joined a new-wave band,
and changed her name to Davie-sox.
edisonoside who played guitar,
sang songs about whales and cocks.
WoodlandParkPunk didn't give a shit,
was just a nihilist.
Otters_Walk_Among_Us was much more my style,
she wrote songs just like this.

hexicon went forty days
drinking nothing but Perrier.
British drove her Chevrolet
into the San Francisco bay.
pikeprof came from Ohio,
she's a Scientologist.
cubby here's a kiss,
I chose you to end this list.

LOL ! Thanks B'chipz,I went back again and re-read the lyrics.Laughed even more ! Now,I'm wondering if I still own that LP . I certainly hope so .

I'm amazed at how often the word "simple" is used when describing me.[:D] No arguing with popular opinion I guess.
