I heard a song the other day but cant remember the name or the group. I remember it was an 80's punk band and the song consist of some guy talking about tragic world events (war, economy, government) he's saying everything "matter as factly" and there is someone in the back roud getting scared everytime the speaker says something new. Anyone have any clue to what this is.

My first reaction is it could be Oingo Boingo, but I can't remember the song and am not sure whether that falls under your description of a punk band, because O-B was clearly not. But it sounds like something Oingo Boingo would do- they featured a lot of

Thanks tom, I know it wasnt them. I was thinking maybe Social Distortion. I dont know but it's driving me crazy!! THESE PRETZLES ARE MAKING ME THIRSTY!!!![:D]

Hell, I thought it was a song called "Endless Blockade for the Pussyfooter" from the War and Peace punk compilation--cant remember the band. This guy is on the phone calling someone scaring the hell out of him with all sorts of Political connotations--you

"Give Me Convience Or Give Me Death" is a compilation LP of various DKs singles and comp tracks. "Kinky Sex Makes the World Go Round" is off of the RRadical Records "Peace" comp, which also had "Endless Blockade" by the Japanese band Lip Cream. "Endless

I have the original DK's album with this on vinyl. I think Jello is pretending to be the president talking to Margret Thatcher about starting another war "The Companys will be very pleased".
