Strange concert line ups

Just curious here, what are some of the more bizarre concert line ups that you have seen over the years? A few stick out for me like Alan Vega opening for the Pretenders back in 1982. The crowd did not know what to make of Alan & he got booed off the stage. I went out & bought two of his LPs the next day.
Also odd was Black Flag opening for Venom in Trenton, NJ, who planned that one?

ATF ("der kommisar") opened for Van Halen when I was in high school!!

I saw Big Country opening for Hall & Oates back in 1984. Pretty wacky.

The Alan Vega story is kind of funny, because I once saw The Cars in a nightclub and Suicide opened for them. They got booed heavily, but I loved them.
Oddest? Hmmm, so many to choose from.
U2 opening for a mediocre German pop metal band called Baroog

Stevie Ray Vaughan opened up for Men At Work in 1983 in Seattle--that always struck me as odd.
A few years later, the Fixx opened up for the Moody Blues in Tacoma. Tres weird!

Hah! Great recollections all. The biggest fiasco I remember was The Rolling Stones at the LA Colliseum...with an unknown Prince opening for him. Kudos to the Stones for recognizing his talent (which I don't particularly care for BTW), but you can imagine

Reggae artist Max Romeo opening for the Boomtown Rats at the Palladium in NY. Makes more sense now but at the time I was not into reggae and neither was the audience

I've seen:
The Replacements opening for Tom Petty.
Faith No More opening for Billy Idol.
And a festival in Germany w/ The Alarm, Gianna Nannini, Rick Springfield, Joe Cocker, U2, and Chris DeBurgh. This was after Unforgettable Fire and yes, they p
