The Best Synth New Wave Band Of All Times

Postby Sean » Wed Apr 13, 2005 8:01 am

My first poll posting here. Ok, who is the best synth New Wave band of all times in your own opinion? I know there's so many but I'm trying to pick bands that have endured the test of time. My vote goes to Mr. Neil Tennant and Mr. Chris Lowe. The PSB!!!

NO Heaven 17?! No New Order?!? No The Normal?

Oh man, I should have put New Order and Ultravox on there. Oh well, maybe in the next poll. Depeche Mode is winning you guys. Where are the fans for the other bands?

Kraftwerk are true pioneers, but Depeche Mode really took electronic music to new levels.

If you vote for anyone other thanKraftwerk you have missed the "best synth" tag all together.

What about Cabaret Voltaire, Blancmange, DAF, Propaganda or Kissing the Pink just to mention some other great synth groups.
It's hard to pick one.
It just got to be Kraftwerk. End of discussion.

What? No New Musik?

Too many great synthpop bands to choose from. Even if you listed 30 of them in the poll question you'd still be missing someone great.
