There's a version of this service available for free to Comcast users.

So i thought, what the hell.

Not a bad service. Sadly, it stops working after about 20 minutes or so, citing all sorts of technical excuses.

One fun thing is to "make your own station". You name 10 bands you like, it plays those 10 artists plus related ones. Needless to say, it didn't identify the more obsucre bands I put in(suburban lawns, etc), but oddly enough it recognized Killer Pussy.

The premade 80s stations are a bit of a disappointment, but the bitrate is higher than my typical listenings of DayGlo 80s and Flashback Alternatives.

Inspires me further to fire up my shoutcast station again, even though I only have 1600 tracks.
