New Wave Songs by Mainstream Rock Acts

In the 70's there were a variety of rock acts that made disco songs:
Kiss- I Was Made For Loving You
ELO - Last Train to London, (Evil Woman & Don't Bring Me Down worled well too)
Rod Stewart- Do Ya Think I'm Sexy
Queen- Another One Bites the Dust
Blondie - Heart of Glass
I've seen Alice Cooper (which song?) mentioned
as well as Van Halen - I'll Wait (Jump might almost count too)
Yes- Owner of a Broken Heart would count as well
...but any other rock acts go the New Wave direction? Or was the synthesizer that scary back then?

The Alice Cooper song was "Clones (We're All)" from Flush The Fashion.

Kim Carnes went new wave (or at least tried) with "Bette Davis Eyes" as well as "Voyeur."
Sheena Easton also tried new wave with "Machinery." The single went nowhere.
Grace Slick released a terrible "new wave" album in 1984 titled "Machines."

not surprisingly, it was produced by.... roy thomas baker. that might explain the "cars" sound.

If "Luanne" had been recorded by The Records or 20/20 instead of appearing on the much-overplayed "Foreigner 4" it might have been hailed as a power pop classic.
Some of Rush's stuff from the mid-80's could be argued to be new wave (or an attempt at it

This's only slightly connected [:I] but was Michael Jackson/ Paul McCartney's Say Say Say a single? Thought it was after Thriller but before Bad. Not "quite" New Wave but a decent song nonetheless.

Frida "There's Something Going On." I wouldn't necessarily call her mainstream but she was with ABBA all through the 70's.
A bunch of cuts from Blue Oyster Cult's "Mirrors" album. They even dressed the part for t
