Which 5 new wave songs do you think have been played so often that you can't stand to hear it any longer?

2) Tainted Love - Soft Cell
3) Hungry Like The Wolf - Duran Duran
4) Mickey - Toni Basil
5) Don't You Want Me - Human League

I love the song and all- cause Soft Cell was cool and all-
Tears For Fears - Everybody Wants to Rule the World
The Fixx - One thing Leads to another
these are played all the time on the 80s station.

[/quote] That was a very, very overplayed song in its time, but the all time winner is with [b]no doubt[/b] "Melt with You". It was--and is still being--overplayed in so many different radio station formats for twenty years. I wouldn't be surprised if I heard it on a country music station. If I never hear that song again it will be too soon.

[/quote]I guess it's finally getting less airplay, but "...Science" has to be tied with "True" for all time second place, both still behind, "Melt with you."
