Cat People, ST vs Let's Dance version

Postby ru480s2 » Wed Apr 20, 2005 1:37 pm

I seen many reviews bashing the Let's Dance version of Cat People (Putting Out Fire). Allmusic.com says it was declawed and neutered.

I never thought much of the original, I figure it works well with the slow burn of the movie. I like the Let's Dance version, I think it has balls and bite.

The soundtrack version gets my vote (no contest between a Giorgio Moroder production and a Nile Rogers one).

Moroder has been my hero...and is my idol since his work with Forsey and Esposito in Solitary Men (83)...

and I must stick with the soundtrack version.
